Analogies that fall into this category

  Type 1:

  Some Type 1 examples are:
   Fat is to overweight as tiny is to
   minuscule.
   Hot is to steamy as icy is to
   freezing.
 
  Type 2:

  Some Type 2 examples are:
   Old is to new as tall is to short.
   Calm is to nervous as silly is to
   serious.
