Computer technology is a static science. All original ideas for computer
programs have been implemented. Not true, of course. The volatility of our
industry -- even all modern technology -- is infamous. Even so, we at BIG
BLUE DISK are still fascinated by the degree of adaptation required to keep
pace. This month has been no exception as we adjusted our organizational
structure once more to place emphasis on new facets. Our whole team is
excited about the prospects of working together to meet each new challenge.

This seems to be a good time to restate our primary mission of providing
our subscribers with quality software at affordable prices. We pledge to
publish programs which utilize the computer's capabilities to help you achieve
your own goals. To this end, we will continue to search out a variety of
program tools for your computer tool chest. This month's issue is a good
 example.

Experts are raving about the results being achieved with computer-based
education for writing and reading skills! Introduce the children of your
household to our customized word-processor "Words for Kids." This feature
has intriguing possibilities for encouraging creative expression and
developing sentence and paragraph construction at an early age. Prepare to
 be amazed!

In Helpware, investigate the THREE utilities that will help you use your
computer more effectively. Directory Tree and FindMe! will both aid you in
keeping track of the contents of your disks. MouseIt, on the other hand,
will allow those readers with "mouse" input devices to use them more globally.

Of course this is not all you will find in Big Blue Disk, but we don't
want to spoil your browsing fun. Explore the whole issue, and let us know
what you think. If we have not yet addressed some special interests of yours,
 please drop me a line.
