 --PC BUSINESSDISK--

I don't understand your new policy. If I want "just-business", then
I should go with the PC BUSINESSDISK? Won't you be having the mixed "bag"
on the regular disks anymore? I enjoy having a bit of everything - games
AND the business items (like spreadsheets, etc.) as well.

                                                 ^RSandra Ducharme
                                                 ^RNorth Vancouver, B.C.

^1> Never fear. Big Blue Disk will continue to have a variety of
^1>programs each month, just as we always have. Some strictly-business
^1>applications may be left to the BUSINESSDISK experts who will concentrate
^1>in that area, but our home-enhancing product will still have lots of
^1>personal productivity tools (like specialized spreadsheets and databases),
^1>games, utilities, graphics, educational features, and all the other great
 ^1>programs you expect from us.
 ^1>
^1> We look forward to hearing your comments as we go along.

 --QUIZZER--

I received your Big Blue Disk QUIZZER. In running it, the disk never
adds your total score when you are finished. It puts up the following line:

        PROC QZR9 line 25, open error TEMP.NTX (4) Retry? (Y/N)

                                                   ^RPhil Steinberg
                                                   ^RManistee, MI

^1> QUIZZER requires several files to keep track of all its information.
^1>MS-DOS (MicroSoft Disk Operating System) uses the "config.sys" file to
^1>find out how many files the program should be able to use (open). The
^1>author of QUIZZER specified the number of files must be "at least 20 in
^1>order to permit QUIZZER to operate." (See VIEW DOCUMENTATION on disk.)
 ^1>
^1> You'll find good information about the "config.sys" file in the DOS
^1>manual. Another nice explanation of its use and update was written by our
^1>own Bob Napp in the Diskovery column of BBD issue #43.
 ^1>
^1> The important point here is that the "config.sys" file must exist on
^1>your DOS "boot disk", also called the "system disk." That file must
 ^1>contain a line which says:
 ^1>
 ^1> FILES=20
 ^1>
^1> We experimented and found that we got the same message if we did not
^1>have the "config.sys" file. If you continue to experience difficulties
^1>after setting up the "config.sys" (called config-dot-sis), please let
 ^1>us know.
