The read/write heads on hard disk drives literally fly so close to the
surface of the disk that a smoke particle could not pass between them.
Though most hard drives are fairly sturdy, it is recommended that you "park"
(position the heads over an unused data area) the heads before you move the
system. ^1AutoPark^0 provides an automatic way to keep your hard drive
 head(s) parked.

AutoPark is a memory-resident utility that allows you select a time
between 1 and 30 minutes to automatically park the heads on the first three
hard drives in your system. If your hard drive is not accessed for the
designated period of time, a tone is sounded and the head(s) are parked.
Every time a hard drive is accessed, the timer is zeroed. If the hard
drive is not accessed further the head(s) are parked after the designated
period of time expires. NOTE: Accessing the floppy drives will not affect
 the timer.

    AutoPark uses the following syntax:

                                   ^1APARK^0 n

          Possible "n" Values Resulting Action
          ===================                       ================
1.) values between 1 and 30 sets timer to specified value
2.) space displays syntax of command
    3.) 0 uninstalls itself
4.) nothing sets timer to default 5 minutes

Though you can run this utility at any time from the DOS "*>" prompt, you
might want to include it in your AUTOEXEC.BAT file. Once the utility is
loaded, you can change the designated period of time by running it again
with a different value passed for "n".

To run this program outside ^1Big Blue Disk^0, type: ^1APARK^0.
