You are encouraged to distribute the Number Munchers Tribute
to others on the conditions that the program is not shared
in a modified or hacked form, that there is no charge for the

deleted. I do not claim that I own or created the idea of
Number Munchers.

II. About Number Munchers Tribute
---------------------------------

Number Munchers Tribute was made for practicing C. It is the
first C game of a fifteen-year-old kid using Turbo C++ 3.0.
This game took a few months to develop because the programmer
never created a game in C before. Also, it was originally being
developed on a HP computer running Windows 98SE. Two hard drive
crashes set back the creation process a few days. The first one
wasn't recovered, so a much older version of the game had to be
used and the sprites had to be re-drawn from scratch. The second
crash was recovered and returned to the programmer on a DVD within
a week. The program eventually grew quite large for the compiler
to handle, so some features had to be left out, unfortunately.
But alas, the program is here for you to enjoy. The original
Number Munchers can be found at http://www.the-underdogs.org/
If you do not have it or have never played the original, I strongly
suggest that you do because it's simply a great game to play,
especially for younger kids.

IV. FAQ
-------

This is the section for Frequently Asked Questions about the game,
along with an answer.

Q. Why isn't __________ in the game?
A. First of all, if you're asking about the Magic Cape, that's in
Super Munchers, not Number Munchers. Other features would have
been included, but compiler limitations prevented them from
   getting into this version.

Q. When I exit the game, "Memory Allocation Error: System COMMAND
Halted" appears and the screen locks up! What can I do?
A. If this happens, try to ALT+TAB out of the screen and manually
close the program after that. This error seems to occur
randomly, although in this version, there were no instances of
it. Contact me at Zell_1388@yahoo.com if this happens.

Q. The game runs too slow on my old computer. What can I do?
A. E-Mail me at Zell_1388@yahoo.com and let me know. I'll send
you a configured version of the game that makes the game a lot
faster, so it should work on older computers.
