Deekout

Setting the Stage

The year is 1980... You bring your new computer home, and install a new killer game-Deekout! With it's amazing PC speaker sound and text graphics, you have no wonder why you just spent $40 on this game...

Well, unfortunately for me, the year is 2001 and this game is about as bad as they come. And you downloaded it because??? Ahh well, at least it was a small download.

Game Information

This game was created in QuickBASIC in 1998, when I had nothing else to do. If I still knew where the source code was, I would have distributed it with the exe file. I stole the sound blaster routines from some one-I no longer know who. If it was you, thank you-your routines are great! The sound might work on your computer, or the game might crash once you die. Who knows... This game is copyright (c) 1998 by Dansoft. Please distribute freely; it's not me who's gonna get laughed at for the upload. It's not my problem if this game does anything wrong to your computer. It's just a risk you'll have to take as a trade-in for it's astounding graphics, theatre like sound, brilliant colors...

Anyway, the point of this game is to dodge the numbers that come flying at you and to see how long you can stay alive! Use the cursor keys to move. You die when one of the numbers runs into you. Have a blast. And email me at pirate@gamehippo.com with your critic... I mean comments.
