MORTAL PONG v 0.5c Beta

 Changes in 0.5c:

Made sure that an equal number of balls come out on each side.
Now there should be no side with an "unfair" advantage.
Fixed some graphics errors, and made paddle movement much smoother.

 Bug Fixed in 0.5b:

Game now runs fine without sound card!
(If for some reason you dont have one!)

 New Features in 0.5a:

You ask for it, and here it is: One player mode!

You can set the initial number of balls, the ball release rate,
and the number of players at the main menu!

The release rate is the number of goals (by either player) before
another ball is added to the game. EX: Default for release rate
is 25, so every 25 times a ball goes in either players goal, another
ball will be release. Try a release rate of one for really obnoxious
  games!

If you select a one player game, you will be allowed to choose from
four different opponents of various skill levels.

Don't ask why I made a pong game, I just felt like it.

Pretty simple, you try to keep the balls from going past ya.
Every time a ball passes by ya, you lose health (just like mortal
combat, get it!). The balls come from the strange metal planetoid
in the middle of the screen. The longer the game goes the more
balls that come flying out (unlike boring old normal pong).

Whoever wins gets to watch the other guy go up in flames! Great fun!

 The controls are simple:

      Player1: A - go up
               Z - go down

Player2: UP ARROW - go up (of course)
DOWN ARROW - go down (duh!)

You can put some "english" and speed on the ball if you "swipe" it
 with the paddle, try it.

 Recommended Hardware:
A 386+ computer running DOS 3.3 or better.
  A VGA card and monitor.
A sound blaster card or compatible is STRONGLY suggested!
(The setting from your BLASTER enviorment variable are used to set
     up the sound card.)

 Well, have fun.......

If there are any artist who would like to contribute to the cheesy
cause email me. I can always use good art to help keep these cheesy
games looking good. No pay, but the fame and the glory of having your
name in a cheesy game is well worth it. (Plus, the women will go crazy!)
