This README file contains important information about Neo Hunter that 
is supplemental to any of the Neo Hunter documentation.

To print a hardcopy of this file, at the DOS prompt, change to the 
drive of your CD-ROM drive (i.e. "D:") and type:

     PRINT README.TXT   [ENTER]

To print a hardcopy of this file, from Windows95: click on the 
File menu selection on the tool bar at the top of this window, from
the file menu click the Print command.

Helpful Gameplay Hints:
-------------------------

* Keys to use and remember:

  * General Uses Keys
     Options Screen:
	The <Esc> will always pause the game and bring up the Options 
	     screen.

     Exit:
	The <F> key will always exit you back to the apartment or map 
	     depending on where you started from.

  * Combat keys
     Mouse-Aim:
	- left mouse button fires the left selected weapon. (Shown at
	     the bottom of  the screen on the left weapon indicator) 
	- right mouse button fires the right selected weapon. (Shown at
 	     the bottom of  the screen on the right weapon indicator)
	<A> or <' > - Breaks target lock on enemy.

     Energy  Shifting:
	The <Ctrl> and <Shift> keys are used to shift energy between
 	     the stunner and the shields.

     Selecting  Weapons:
	The <Z> or <.>(period) keys  cycles through your available 
	     weapons to assign your left weapon. (Shown at the bottom of 
	     the screen on the left weapon indicator) 
 	The <X> or </>  keys  cycles through your available weapons to 
	     assign your right weapon. (Shown at the bottom of  the 
	     screen on the right weapon indicator) 
	(Only the left weapon has an ammo display)

     Grenades:
	To throw  a grenade (if you have one): first target who you 
	     want to throw it at then press the <Space Bar>

* If  your shields are running low and you have another weapon, use the
	second weapon and shift the energy from stunner to the shields.

* Conserve your ammunition, the machine gun is best used against the
 	bosses.

* The Puzzles can be a little difficult; if you need help press the
 	information button (?). That is what its there for.

     The HMI Sound Operating System (c) 1993-1995 is compatible with

Loading DirectX For Windows95
------------------------------
     DirectX is essential to running Neo Hunter in the Windows95 
	environment. If you chose to not install DirectX during the
	Neo Hunter installation and then not able to start Neo Hunter
	then you will need to install it separately.
     To install DirectX, from Windows95: Select the CD-ROM drive icon
	form the main("My Computer") window, from the CD-ROM drive
	window select the DirectX folder, from the DirectX window
	select the Dxsetup icon to activate the DirectX setup program
	and follow its directions.
