2.0 Starting Duff

        To start Duff:

        1. Change to the drive and subdirectory where the game is installed
        2. If you are playing first time, type DUFFSET first and choose
the soundcard (only Gravis UltraSound is supported now).
        3. Type DUFF

3.0 Troubleshooting

      * If the graphics appear to be either too dark or too light, just
adjust the settings on your monitor.

      * If the game runs slowly on your computer..
         1. Try to switch off the music and sound. Although this shouldn't
affect the speed much but you can always try it.
         2. Buy a faster computer (and/or graphics adapter).

      * If you experience the game accessing hard disk (and jerking because
of that), you should turn write-cache off from your disk cache
program. (for example, if you use smartdrv, type SMARTDRV /X
before you play.) Although turnint off write-cache can make the
        loading pauses longer.

      * If you are running Duff under Microsoft Windows and experience
problems, try to run Duff from DOS without Windows in the
        background.

      * If the game just doesn't work..
         1. Try to increase the amount of base memory
         2. Have at least 250k (or more) free space on your
            hard disk for swapping
         3. Try to get a new copy of Duff from a reputable
            source and try again.

      * If you still have some problems, you can write to our Internet
E-mail address (tonic@triplex.fipnet.fi) - Try to give as much
information as possible about your computer and the reactions
        of the game.

4.0 Playing the Game

The object of the game is to collect needed amount of skulls
in each level and proceed to the exit before time runs out.
You have to avoid dangers like spinning blades and dropping
        rocks or skulls.

When you pick up some other obstacles, you'll usually receive
some points. Every time when you have gathered little more
than 2500 points you receive an extra life.

        The keys are :

Left Arrow - Move to left
Right Arrow - Move to right
Up Arrow - Move to up
Down Arrow - Move to down
Space - Drop a bomb if you have one
Ctrl - Hold down and press arrow key
at the same time to "eat" a block.
        Backspace - Kill the guy
        Esc - Quit the game
