		       Getting Started
Backing	Up Poker!
Be sure to make backups of your Poker! program files	before
running the program. The simplest method is	to simply copy
all of the files onto another diskette. An example for a
   two diskette	system is:
	COPY A:*.* B: [enter]
Alternately you can use the DOS DISKCOPY command. Using
   this	method you would type:
	DISKCOPY A: B: [enter]

Installing Poker!
Poker! does not require an special installation. You can
run the program directly from the diskette or if you	prefer
you can copy	all of the files onto your hard	disk. The
following example assumes that you wish to run Poker! from
the \POKER subdirectory of your C: drive and	that the Poker!
diskette is in the A: drive:
C: [enter] switch to the	C drive
CD \ [enter] move to the root directory
MD POKER [enter] create the POKER directory
CD \POKER [enter] move	to the POKER directory
COPY A:*.* [enter] copy all of	the files
All of the Poker! files must	be in the same directory, or on
the same diskette. If you need to save disk	space you can
omit	the documentation and README files.

Running	Poker!
Switch to the Poker!	diskette or directory and from the
   command line	type:
	POKER <enter>

That's all there is to it! Poker! is designed to be very

very	intuitive, but just to be sure why not take a moment
and read the	rest of	the documentation.
