Western Vistas is a "slide-show" program that randomly displays 320x200 *.GIF files that are located in the current directory. You can place the program in a directory included in your DOS path, and if you have a directory with *.GIF files, when you type "VISTAS" it will use the files in the current directory as its slide show. We have provided several *.GIF files that have been scanned from photographs taken by our own Jim Weiler, head of our Quality Assurance department. You can add any compatible *.GIF files to the list and Western Vistas will display them as well. The program will cycle through the images until you press a key or click your mouse button.

You can add your own *.GIF files to the list that Western Vistas shows simply by saving them in 320x200 mode in a graphic program. If you have a scanner and would like to add graphics to Western Vistas, save them in 320x200 256 color mode.

These *.GIF files can be used in any fashion you want, short of reselling them as graphic files to another party. Use them in slide shows, or as clip art.
