Because of the lack of disk space we have included
the manual for Personal Calc in compressed format.
To extract the manual please follow these
instructions.

1. Make sure you have at least 150K free on the
disk you want to extract the manual onto.
2. Copy the file "PCMANPAC.EXE" to that disk.
This can be a hard disk or any floppy disk.
3. Extract the manual by typing the following:
    "A:PCMANPAC"
If you have copied to a drive other than "A"
use that letter instead, ex. "B:PCMANPAC".
4. Use any text editor (such as SwiftView from
ODM #75) to view and/or print the text files.

We have included two Personal Calc templates on this
issue. They are "93Tax.pcw" and "Xpense.pcw".
They are intended to show you what you can do with
Personal Calc, and we hope they are of some use to you
as they are.

To open either of these templates, simply run Personal
Calc, either from the On Disk Monthly Menu, or from
DOS. Personal Calc also works from within Windows,
so you can set up an icon for it and run Personal Calc
from there, if you prefer.

Once you have Personal Calc open you can then choose
"Open" from the "File menu" and you will see a list of
all of the files that Personal Calc can open (those
with the ".pcw" filename extension). Choose either
of the two templates listed above, and Personal Calc
will open the file and allow you to use them as
if they were templates of your own design.

                          --END--
