We regularly conduct reader surveys to determine what type of person
subscribes to Big Blue Disk. If we can better determine the likes and
dislikes of our subscribers, we can better meet their needs. The most recent
survey was very helpful in that regard and can be viewed as one of the reasons
we started ^1PC BusinessDisk^0, a product dedicated solely to helping you
become more productive in your work.

Due to the fast-paced nature of the computing world, Big Blue Disk has
recently come to a crossroads. To continue to grow and provide you with
interesting and innovative software for your peronal use, we now recommend
that all BBD users have at least 512K of memory. Notice that this is a
RECOMMENDATION, not a REQUIREMENT. For the foreseeable future, the majority
of software we publish will work in 256K of memory.

Based on our reader survey results, the increased memory recommendation
is a safe one. Most of you already have systems that contain at least that
much memory. For those of you that don't, I would suggest that you consider
upgrading to at least 512K. Memory prices are extremely reasonable and I
believe you will find the improved system performance well worth the expense
 and effort.

I am really excited about the future of Big Blue Disk. With the
additional memory available for our software, we will be able to provide you
programs with increased functionality. Only a few years ago, I used to think
that a personal computer with 64K contained all the memory I could ever use.
Today, 640K just doesn't seem to be enough!

Have a great month and keep sending those cards and letters!
