OF METER LONG HORNS LOCATED ABOVE THE EYE SOCKETS AND A THIRD HORN
ON ITS NOSE. ALSO NOTE THE LARGE BEAK.

STRONG, SHARP TEETH THAT WERE CONSTANTLY REPLACED AS THE OLD
ONES WERE LOST.

Notes: THE SKULL WAS EXCEPTIONALLY LONG AND NARROW.  THE FRONT PORTION OF THE
CRANIUM AND LOWER JAW WERE BEAK-LIKE AND WERE USED FOR CUTTING TOUGH
VEGETATION.  THE FEW TEETH, LOCATED AT THE BACK OF THE JAW, WERE USED FOR 
GRINDING.

Notes: THE QUETZALCOATLUS WAS CERTAINLY THE LARGEST ANIMAL EVER TO FLY.
ITS WINGSPAN STRETCHED AT LEAST 35 FEET.  PAUL MACCREADY SUCCESSFULLY
CONSTRUCTED AND FLEW AN 18 FOOT COMPUTER CONTROLLED MODEL ON
JANUARY 7, 1986 AT THE EL MIRAGE DRY LAKE BEDS.  THE CREST MAY HAVE
FUNCTIONED AS A RUDDER.

CRANIUM WAS HIGHLY DEVELOPED, LIGHT AND STRONG. THE TEETH WERE CONICAL AND 
RAZOR SHARP.
