                     I N T E R F I X  v0.4
                      By  Mark Richardson

This program works the same way as MHSFIX but with a more graphical view
and a few more enhancements/features.

It's designed to fix the problem of users not typing INTERNET: or IN:
before a username for internet messages within Major BBS version 6.X

If you type INTERFIX then hit enter it will come up with a help screen.
When using full paths, the program does not check that they exist.
It's up to you to make sure they do.....

The audit report is helpful to let you know what was converted each time.
Any file converted has a - placed in the front.

If the program doen't detect either INTERNET: or IN: or USENET:
but finds a @ and a . or ! after the @ then it should go to Internet
so it will look for the first blank space before the @ and place
charactors from that point on as the Internet Address.
This will fix the problem of users placing IN or INTERNET or INTER
etc etc or variations like this in the TO: header by mistake.

The other feature I've just added is to be run at the end of the netrun.bat
file. It will strip out INTERNET: in the FROM: field in incoming mail.
This allows more of the address line to be displayed if your using a
QWK reader. This feature was added because tony@portmac.apana.org.au
asked for it.......

The main screen will display all the files it finds.
If it's converted it will display the file with a tick in the front of it
and also change the colour of the file.
If its a locked or read only file a X and colour of red is displayed.

Hope this helps.

Examples:

Start Of NETRUN.BAT  First Line

INTERFIX I=C:\MBBSV6\OUTMSG A=C:\AUDIT.LOG
{Netrun programs}
INTERFIX S=C:\MBBSV6\INMSG

If you want the files moved to another directory after being checked
for internet addressing, use the following example.

INTERFIX I=C:\MBBSV6\OUTMSG O=C:\OUTMSG A=C:\AUDIT.LOG
{netrun Programs}

As you can see I've added an O= option which will move the files
once check for internet addressing to another directory.

I've had it runing on my system now for a week without problems.
But as I can't for see all situations, please run tests on it first on
your systems. It's better to be safe than sorry as I took for granted
MHSFIX was OK and then found message not getting though because of the
To: line being removed.

Key to colour codes.. (And no Colour is not spelt wrong. )
                       (We spell it correctly in New Zealand)
   Cyan = Unchanged
  Blue = Fixed and moved to new location
   Blue = Moved only
 X Red = Locked or Read Only File
