If you are upgrading from an older version of the 900 software, before
your board actually goes up, you will see a bunch of .'s going across
the screen. This is just to show that it is converting to old software
to the new format (Your data files).

Once you have installed this in your BBS directory, go to CNF level 4
and configure your system. CNF options are as follows:

SYSID

Enter what your system ID number is on the 900 system.

SYSKEY

Enter the key that you want a user to have in order to have access
to the sysop function of the 900 service software.

TTIHAN

Put the handle that Tessier Technologies uses on your board.
This option is usually set to TTI.

USET10

If you are going to use the 10 dollar option, set this to YES. If
you are just upgrading your software from the old version, this
option must be set to yes.

UNITS

When a user redeems a code from the 10 dollar database, this is
how many units you want to give to the user to spend. Normally
for the 10 dollar option you give 10 units.

USET25

Answer yes to this variable if you are using the 25 dollar option
for the 900 service. If you are just upgrading your software, set
this to NO. If you would like to use the 25 dollar option on your
software you must first notify Tessier Technologies of your intent
so they can set you up on their end.

UNITS2

This is the amount of units you want to give to a user who redeems
a code from the 25 dollar database. Normally for the 25 dollar
option you would give 25 units.

GO2TOP

If you want to send users to the TOP menu after they exit the 900
service, then answer YES to this question. You would want to do
this if you are using an AUTO-SELECT menu for your top menu.

Answer YES to this option if you want to make a post to the audit
trail every time a user redeems a code.

POST2

Answer YES to this option if you want to make a post to the audit
trail every time a users purchases something.

PHONE

Every 1st of the month, your computer will call Tessier Technologies
and send them all of the codes that were redeemed for the previous
month. THis is the phone number that you will be calling in order
to reach Tessier Technologies. This should be Tessier Technologies
BBS phone number, not a local SPRINT number.

All of the configuration dealing with what you want to give to users and
how many credits/days that you want to give to users is now done ONLINE.

From the SYSOP menu, you have these options:

     1. Add a purchasable item
     2. Remove a purchasable item
     3. List purchasable options
     4. Modify purchasable option

     5. List callers by date
     6. Search for used code
     7. Search redeemed codes by User-Id
     8. Calling statistics

     9. Delete hackers file
     10. View hackers file
     11. Show purchases by User-Id

     12. Reset a users hack attempts for today.

Purchasable Items are what you want to sell to your users. You can switch
their class, give them days, credits, and keys. You can also restrict
their ability to buy these items with keys.

A new feature that we have added to the 900 service is a BETTER ability to
detect hackers. A user will get 3 attempts at entering a code correctly,
if they do not enter it correctly within those three attempts, ANYTHING they
type in as a code after that, no matter if it is GOOD or BAD, they are told
that it is an invalid code. Each bad attempt by a user is written to what
we call a Hackers File, along with what they typed, the time, and date that
they did it. The sysop can reset the Hack attempts from the sysop menu, or
at cleanup, it resets every users flag so they have 3 attempts the next day.
