I. Introduction

   Super hangman is a game of both skill and luck. Super
Hangman not only follows the rules of the traditional game, but
also blends in a level of educational learning. In the form of a
hint, synonyms and antonyms of the word being guessed are
displayed to the users (deducts points from their point
earnings).


II. Features

         Users can play against other users online

         Users can play against the clock if online alone

         Words can be added to the dictionary via online utility

         Players are rated on a ranking system according to
        their points

         Extensive online help facility

         Full sysop control over user access


III. Installation

To install Super Hangman, insert the Super Hangman
distribution disk into one of your disk drives and run the Install
program. The Super Hangman files will be installed to your
BBSV6 subdirectory.

Next, enter your activation code (found on the distribution
diskette label) in the level 3 configuration (Security &
Accounting).

IV. Configuration of Super Hangman

Super Hangman Level 3 configuration allows the following
options to be modified:

CODE             Activation code required to enable the Super
                 Hangman module.

KEYSHM           Determines the key needed to access the Super
                 Hangman module.

TLKSHM           Determines key needed in order to talk inside
                 Super Hangman.

WHPSHM           Determines key needed in order to whisper inside
                 Super Hangman.

MSSHM            Determines if "*** message sent ***" is
                 displayed after each message typed by the user.

WSSHM            Determines if "-- whisper sent --" is displayed
                 after each whisper typed by the user.

There are various level 6 screen displays that you are welcome
to change in order to add a customized touch to your bbs. See
the System Operations Manual for details on editing "text
blocks".


V. Playing Super Hangman

Upon entering the Super Hangman module, users are thrown
into the Jail House until a new round begins. They are then
escorted to the scaffold where they can participate in the game.

Commands within Super Hangman can be accessed by typing
HELP COMMANDS.


VI. Sysop commands

Edit:

Super Hangman has a special Sysop menu built in for editing
and displaying the word list. To enter this menu, type "edit"
while in the game. Option "1" will allow you to modify words,
and option "2" will display a list of words available.

Add:

Super Hangman also has a word adding utility that can be
accessed while in the game. Just type "add" and you will be
prompted to enter the new word, the synonym, and the
antonym. When you are satisfied with your entry, press enter to
confirm that everything is correct and your new word will be
added to the Super Hangman dictionary.

You can enter a question mark ('?') at any time to get a list of
options available. Extensive help is also available.


VII. Warranty & License

You may use the program on a single machine. You may copy the program
into any machine-readable form of backup in support of your use of the
program on the single machine.

You may NOT transfer the license and program to any other party.

DataSafe warrants that the computer media on which the software Product
is furnished shall be free from defects in materials and workmanship for a
period of ninety (90) days from the date of purchase by any end-user.
DataSafe shall provide a replacement Product of any such defective Product,
if the defective Product, including all documentation and magnetic media, is
returned to DataSafe within thirty(30) days of the discovery of such defect.
The sole remedy for any breach of the foregoing warranty shall be a
replacement of such defective Product.

DATASAFE DOES NOT WARRANT, REPRESENT, OR GUARANTEE
THAT ALL PROBLEMS WILL BE CORRECTED OR THAT ANY
UPDATES WILL BE COMPATIBLE WITH PREVIOUS VERSIONS OF
THE PRODUCTS. EXCEPT AS EXPRESSED ABOVE, DATASAFE
DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESSED AND IMPLIED, TO
THE PRODUCT, INCLUDING ALL IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF
MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE,
AND DATASAFE DISCLAIMS ALL OBLIGATIONS AND LIABILITY
ON DATASAFE'S PART FOR DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT
LIMITED TO SPECIAL, INDIRECT OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES
IN CONNECTION WITH USE OF THE PRODUCT, WHETHER OR NOT
DATASAFE HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY THEREOF.
