                        Cheersoft's Chat-Now v2.3

New for v2.3:

There were occasional lockups on some systems being reported. This has been
repaired.

During the completion of Multi-Chat (now available!), we found ways to
further optimize the ANSI. Since the performance of 2.2 seemed to be fine,
I didn't bother further improving performance - instead Chat-Now 2.3 now
uses slighly less bandwidth. On the subject of Multi-Chat, v1.0 is available
and supports four way, split screen chat. Multi-Chat and Chat-Now may be
purchased together for only $199. Chat-Now is now available to Multi-Chat
owners for only $75. Multi-Chat is also available to Chat-Now owners for
only $75. These prices apply until BBS Con.

Chat-Now and Multi-Chat are each $125. After BBS Con, you may purchase
either one for $99 if you own the other.

New for v2.2:

We had a few suggestions and made a few changes. Also, there was one bug
in v2.1 (actually 2 bugs, I also had the version labelled wrong in the audit
trail), which has been erradicated.

I was receiving some complaints about 'lag'. Lag can be defined as the time
between a keypress and the letter appearing on the screen. This lag was
reduced by 25 percent. I'm hoping the amount of lag is now changed from
being "just noticeable" to "barely perceivable".

There is now a DESTRUCTABLE backspace. This is a big improvement,
especially since the cursor is always placed where Chat-Now is expecting
to place output from the bbs.

There is now a FORCED Chat-Now mode for sysops. When you force Chat-Now,
as the sysop - the other user will only be able to see things from the bbs
and won't be able to send commands to the bbs. The user will also not be
able to exit Chat-Now. The only thing the other user will be able to do is
type to you.

The person forcing Chat-Now can use Chat-Now normally (send bbs commands,
toggle between windows, exit the program and so forth). The person can also
do some additional commands. CTRL-G will cause the other user to receive
a beep. CTRL-D will toggle the other user's account for deletion. CTRL-U
will toggle the other user's account for suspension. CTRL-T will toggle
input lockout for the other user. CTRL-K will kick the other user offline.
When input is being locked out, the other user can't type ANYTHING AT ALL.
Input lockout will automatically end when you exit so the other user can
continue using the bbs.

You'll conveniently be notified whether the account is suspended or
unsuspended, deleted or undeleted, locked or unlocked in the BBS window.

Have fun with Chat-Now v2.2!
