Here's a list of the features of Mountain Mail:

[*] Unlimited number of information servers. Every information
server can be 'sold' to a business customer. The 'owner' of an
         information server is charged for:
                - Each local information request
                - Each out-of-system information request
                - Each local file request
                - Each out-of-system file request
The information server can be configured to UUENCODE file
         attachments on command or always.
Setting up a information server is nothing more then changing a
forum header (more on that later).
(Try it? Send a message to Info@STR or info@sterbbs.nl)

[*] Unlimited number of Mailing List Servers. Let users across
networks keep in touch with you by joining one of your
Mailing List Servers. Everything works real time without any
maintenance. Incoming messages are processed the moment
Mountain Mail receives them. (Un)Subscribing is just a matter
of sending a message to the Mailing List Server ID with one of
the keywords in the subject line.
Supports both unmoderated and moderated Lists. Special option
checks for 'overquoting' or bounced messages.
Mountain Mail prevents sending messages to 'ghost' users. After
a (configurable) number of days Mountain Mail sends out
'Subscription Renewal' messages. If the subscriber doesn't
reply within a number of days, he's automatically removed from
         the mailing list.
(Try it? Send a message to "Listserver@STR" (Majornet),
         "Listserver@sterbbs.nl" (Internet) or "Listserver@2:2802/221"
(Fido). Put "Subscribe" or "Help" in the subject line.)

[*] Automatic E-Mail responder. This is one feature your users will
love. Every user can activate the Automatic E-Mail responder.
The system will reply to every message send to that user with a
default message or with a message that user entered (different
charges). When the user returns from holiday, the system will
generate a list of names and dates when it replied.
Also, the system will send an "I'm Back" message to everybody
who got the "I'm away" message (optional).

[*] Automatic E-Mail Copy. Activating the Auto-forward option of
Worldgroup has one big drawback: You loose the original
message. Mountain Mail will COPY each incoming message to a
specified address. This address can be another user, a forum or
any MHS Address (Internet, MajorNet or FAX). That's right: FAX!
With the Fax/Online option of Galacticomm installed you can
         even copy your E-mail to a fax-address.

[*] E-Mail FAX: Mountain Mail integrates the Fax/Online option of
Galacticomm into the message base. This means the Fax/Online
option gets a MHS address. Sending a fax is nothing more then
writing a message to "FAX: User@phone number". This can be done
either online or offline. The Mountain Mail Fax-Option fully
integrates into the message base engine of Worldgroup. This
means your users can attach files too (either ASCII or G'comm
Fax-format). The text of the fax message begins on the cover
page. This means no waste of paper anymore. Small notes don't
         use two pages anymore.
One option your users will really love: every single user can
         create his/her own cover page.

[*] Full Screen Forum Selector: Using the famous Full Screen
Selector used in TFLE, your users can select the forum of
their interest. Using Ctrl-N and Ctrl-P they can sroll
through the list of avialable forums. Different kind of forums
can have different colors (more on that later). Full
RIP-interface (no ANSI code). Even ASCII users only have to
type one letter to select a new forum.

[*] Full Screen Quickscan Configuration: Using the famous Full
Screen Selector used in TFLE, your users can configure their
quickscan in a snap. Using Ctrl-N and Ctrl-P they can page
forwards and backwards in the list of forums. Hitting the
spacebar will add or remove the forum to or from their
quickscan. When adding a forum the 'Read Pointer' is set to a
number of days back. This number of days is configurable in
level 4 configuration but can be overruled on a forum by forum
base. Using the < and > key instead of the spacebar will set
the 'read pointer' to the beginning or end of the forum.
RIP-users will get a full RIP interface (no ANSI) so adding or
removing forums is just a mouseclick. ASCII-user only need two
keystrokes to add or remove a forum.

[*] Default Quickscan: Don't bombard new users with a zillion
messages when they first use the forums. Just use Mountain Mail
to create a default Quickscan. Every new user on your system will
get the quickscan YOU define after the 'read pointers' are set
         using the above feature.

[*] Forum Colors: Let your users see you have different kind of
Forums by using forum colors. Upto 14 different colors can be
used for Local Forums, MajorNet Forums, Internet Forums, and so
         on..

[*] Sorted Forums: Using the above features you can configure how
the Quickscan configuratuon or forum selector presents the
forums to your users: sorted on Name, Description or Color.

[*] Forum Groups: This one is VERY powerfull. As a sysop you can
define several Forum Groups. Every single forum can be part of
upto five different groups. The forum groups are showing up in
the Quickscan configuration and the forum selector. With one
single keystroke an user can add or remove all the forums
within a forum group to or from his Quickscan. By hitting
Return the user can 'enter' a forum group (only the forums
         within that group are shown).
Create Forum Groups like 'MajorNet', 'Internet', 'Local',
'Adult', 'Windows' and so on. Remember, every forum an be part
of five groups. Every Forum Group has a Forum Group Key. If
specified the user must have that key to be able to see the
         group.

[*] The Global Address Book: If you're connecting your system to
any mail-network or if you're using Fax/Online, you can't do
without The Global Address Book. This is all you want AND MORE!
Here's a (partial) list of the Address Book features:
            - Works everywhere on your system
            - Private Address Book for each user
            - Charge credits for adding records to private address book
            - Charge each time the user uses his private address book
            - Public Address Book for all users
            - Charge for adding records to public address book
            - Charge each time the user uses the public address book
            - Records added to the Public Address Book have to be
               approved by the 'book keeper'
            - Give user 'Royalty Credits' on approval of Public Record
            - Configurable global character
            - Global Command (defined by sysop) to grab the address of
               a forum or E-Mail message
            - Global Command (defined by sysop) to add an address to
               address book
            - Up to six network-fields (defined by sysop) and five
               memo-fields for each record
            - Each field has its own global command (defined by sysop)
            - Variable length Btrieve file (empty fields are not stored)
            - Address Book has its own MHS-Address (defined by sysop) so
users can access their address book offline
            - All Full Screen Data Entry for ease of use
            - Dynamically allocated FSD screens (you will not see the
               fields, you're not using)
            - A lot of text variables to use in your menu's or help screens
            - More, more, more, much more..................
The Global Address Book is so easy to use, you'll wonder how you
could 'work' in the past without it. Here's a little example.
It's just the way how it works on our system. Note: you can
change almost everything to your needs. On our system we've
configured The Global Address Book for five mail networks and a
fax-service. When reading a message in the forums or in E-Mail,
we use "/Grab" to steal the address of the writer of the message
we're reading. If there is an address inside a message that we
want to remember we use "/Grab <address>". The address is moved
to one of the ten temporary places (valid until cleanup). When
we're done reading messages, we go to The Global Address menu.
Here's a menu option to process the 'grab list'. A FSD screen
pops up where we can enter a keyword, the full name of the
addressee. With the spacebar we select if the stolen address is
from Internet, Majornet, Fido, WorldLink, NetAccess or and
Fax-number. We also define if the record should be private or
public. With SAVE a new record is stored. From that moment on we
can retrieve information from that record anywhere from the
system. Want to send an internet message to the president
(assuming you have a record with his address)? Go to the E-Mail,
select (W)rite and at the next prompt type "/Internet
President". Want to send him a fax? Just type "/Fax President".
(again, all commands and the global character are configurable).
Great! But what if you're using Quickmail to write messages? A:
Easy! The Global Address Book has its own MHS address
(configurable). Want to send an internet message to the
president? Just send your message to "AB: President!Internet"
(works online too). Want to send him a fax? Just address your
        message to: "AB: President!FAX".

We probably forgot to mention some options. One things is for sure: when
developing Mountain Mail: configurable has been the keyword. No text
hard coded, it's all in the message file. No colors hard coded, it's all
in the message file. You can even customize the full screen selector by
using the supplied TextVars.

If you have any question about Mountain Mail, feel free to send E-Mail
to Sysop@STR (preferable), to our MajorNet support forum
(ML@MAJORBBS.DEV.MR) or by subscribing to our Mailing List Server
(described above). If you don't want promotional talk but want to here
