            - Variable length Btrieve file (empty fields are not stored)
            - Address Book has its own MHS-Address (defined by sysop) so

            - Dynamically allocated FSD screens (you will not see the
               fields, you're not using)
            - A lot of text variables to use in your menu's or help screens
            - More, more, more, much more..................
The Global Address Book is so easy to use, you'll wonder how you
could 'work' in the past without it. Here's a little example.
It's just the way how it works on our system. Note: you can
change almost everything to your needs. On our system we've
configured The Global Address Book for five mail networks and a
fax-service. When reading a message in the forums or in E-Mail,
we use "/Grab" to steal the address of the writer of the message
we're reading. If there is an address inside a message that we
want to remember we use "/Grab <address>". The address is moved
to one of the ten temporary places (valid until cleanup). When
we're done reading messages, we go to The Global Address menu.
Here's a menu option to process the 'grab list'. A FSD screen
pops up where we can enter a keyword, the full name of the
addressee. With the spacebar we select if the stolen address is
from Internet, Majornet, Fido, WorldLink, NetAccess or and
Fax-number. We also define if the record should be private or
public. With SAVE a new record is stored. From that moment on we
can retrieve information from that record anywhere from the
system. Want to send an internet message to the president
(assuming you have a record with his address)? Go to the E-Mail,
select (W)rite and at the next prompt type "/Internet
President". Want to send him a fax? Just type "/Fax President".
(again, all commands and the global character are configurable).
Great! But what if you're using Quickmail to write messages? A:
Easy! The Global Address Book has its own MHS address
(configurable). Want to send an internet message to the
president? Just send your message to "AB: President!Internet"
(works online too). Want to send him a fax? Just address your
        message to: "AB: President!FAX".
