

Lost Caverns v1.15 - Improvements:

First of all, I apologize for the delay in this release.  I was planning to
have it finished a few weeks ago, but I wanted to improve the speed of
Attacking and it needed to be rewritten.  At first I was just going to change
Attacking so that it would attack immediately, but with fewer weapons based
on a characters agility - unfortunately that didn't provide a good solution
for the Auto-Attack feature.

The new attack routine works great.  Attacks are very responsive and quick
paced for everyone.  Attacks are also faster as the character's agility
goes up.  I think this will make Lost Caverns a much more playable game.

Additionally, characters can now start in different rooms based on their
Class.  To change these rooms, look at the last few fields in CNF Level 99.
You can edit these by going into CNF with: CNF -L99.

There was a very small memory leak.  Nobody noticed it, nobody reported it.
I've been running the debug version of Major which has a smaller resolution
for memory changes and during inhouse tested I noticed the leak.  I removed
this leak.  The memory leak would have caused you to lose a few bytes of
ram every few minutes.  This would probably have amounted to 20-30k of lost
memory over the course of a day on a system with 16 lines.  This has been
repaired in 1.15 (another fairly long bug to track down).
