TRIVIA AIM - The aim of the game is to collect all six pieces of the pie. The player who collects six pieces has to correctly answer a question selected by another player to win the game. HOW TO PLAY - Load the TRIVIA program and then load one of the blocks. You can select DEMO to see how the game is played. Rules are simple: For example, the computer rolls the dice; if the dice stops with 3 face-up then the player is asked to select the option displayed on the square either 3 moves ahead or behind the player's present position. The options are either a) to answer a question on one or two of the six subjects or b) to roll the dice again. If the player correctly answers questions on the subject related to the big squares, he is awarded a piece of the pie. HOW TO SET YOUR OWN QUESTIONS - Load TRIVIA EDITOR and follow the procedure described on the screen. Remember to use a blank tape when saving the questions and answers. LOADING INSTRUCTIONS- CBM COMPUTERS - Type LOAD and press RETURN The above commands will load TRIVIA and TRIVIA EDITOR programs. Data blocks are stored after the main program with a suitable gap between them. To ascertain where the data blocks begin, rewind tape 1 to the beginning and set tape counter to zero. Load TRIVIA program. When the program is loaded make a note of the counter reading. Add 5 to this number. Blocks 1 and 2 will always start at that number. Repeat this procedure with TRIVIA EDITOR, to find the counter reading for blocks 3 and 4. CONTROLS - Use joystick or keyboard Use fire button or Space Bar to roll the dice and to reveal correct answer Move - joystick or use Q key for wrong answer Tape 1 Side A - Program + 2 question blocks Tape 1 Side B - Copy of Program + 2 more question blocks Tape 2 Side A - Editor + 2 more question blocks Tape 2 Side B - Copy of Editor + 2 more question blocks
